We're Not Stopping: Ongoing Trials & Evaluations
We’re committed to continuously growing the clinical evidence for Contrelle Activgard-showing how it can reduce or stop bladder leaks in women with stress urinary incontinence, and exploring its potential to help with other conditions.
One of the largest clinical trials in Europe
The Contrelle Activgard team is leading one of Europe’s largest trials in women’s bladder leakage, to understand how Contrelle can improve everyday life while also helping to support and educate healthcare professionals.
Conducted across NHS hospitals
This major trial is being carried out in partnership with several UK NHS hospitals, including, Southampton, Basingstoke, Frimley and Ashford & St Peter’s.
A separate study: Contrelle + pelvic floor exercises
A further innovative study is also underway with the UK’s centre for women’s health research, supported by NICE. This research is looking in detail at outcomes when Contrelle is used alongside pelvic floor exercises.
Additional NHS evaluations
Alongside these two studies, further NHS clinical evaluations are in progress to explore the additional benefits and longer-term outcomes of using Contrelle.
